Sangma’s candidature for Presidency, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa on Sunday contacted top leaders of several non-Congress parties including BJP veteran L.K. Advani, seeking their support to the tribal leader.
Ms. Jayalalithaa spoke over telephone to Mr. Advani, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat, CPI leader A.B. Bardhan, TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Shironmani Akali Dal leader and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, an AIADMK release said here.

Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of world’s most popular social networking website Facebook, updated his relationship status to ‘married’ on Saturday.

Zuckerberg is reported to have tied nuptial knots with his childhood sweetheart Priscilla Chan at a small ceremony at his Palo Alto, California home.
The news of the marriage came a day after Zuckerberg took his company public in one of the most anticipated stock offerings in the Wall Street history on Friday.

The couple met at Harvard and have been together for more than nine years.

Dismissing concerns about policy paralysis in the Indian government, Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia has said the country has grown in the past at over 9 percent with the same set of policies.

“…The economy grew by 9 percent for five years with the existing laws. It is not as if unless we change something that growth rate cannot happen. I am not saying we should not change. We should change”, he said when asked whether policy paralysis at home was impacting investment and growth.
